Tomorrow’s Agenda: Bond, Budget, Legal Services, Union Negotiations
The PVPUSD school board meets tomorrow, March 12, at 5:30 pm. On tomorrow night’s agenda we have:
Discussion of cost estimates for bond issuance. (Note, financial industry professionals tell me PVPUSD’s bond did very well in the bond sale, which I assume we will hear about during the meeting.)
Legal Services RFQ Responses and Selection of firms. (There is a lot of good information in this agenda item showing the various proposals offered by 9 law firms).
Sunshine bargaining proposal from California School Employees Association. (This is the local non-certificated union, meaning non-teacher employees of the district).
The Pali agreement is back on the consent calendar. The district received a policy update from Pali stating that it is now allowing schools to bring their own chaperones to stay in the cabins with students.

As always, this is just one lady’s opinion. I don’t speak for the district, and no one else speaks for me.
