Superintendent Search - We Want to Hear From You

The PVPUSD Board is holding a special meeting tomorrow, Tuesday May 16 at noon to discuss the Superintendent Search. We are currently on a very tight projected timeline with the job posting scheduled to close on June 9.

Up for discussion in open session are the following:

1. Search Activities and Timelines

2. District Strengths and Needs

3. Desired Qualities/Characteristics of Incoming Superintendent

4. Applicant Requirements

   • Minimum years – cabinet-level experience

   • Principal experience – required or preferred?

   • Other?

5. Additional Talent Acquisition Protocols

   • Writing Sample (all applicants) NTE 300 words

     • What vital skills/qualifications do you bring to the position that equip you to serve as the next superintendent of the Palos Verdes Peninsula USD?

     • Provide a specific example of how you have built positive and productive relationships with employee associations.
