Superintendent Search - 4/17 11:00 Closed Session
As you may have heard, our superintendent, Alex Cherniss, is taking a position with the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. I was informed this morning shortly before his email to the community went out. I was surprised, as we just approved a contract extension for Dr. Cherniss this past Wednesday.
It’s important to note that the Board has not yet taken any action. We have not appointed an interim or long-term replacement superintendent. We are meeting on Monday, April 17 at 11:00 for closed session to discuss a plan of action. Please share your thoughts with us via email or public comment.
