Ignore the Noise, Focus on Improving the District
The slanderous attacks by the union and local democratic party are an attempt to distract you from the teacher convicted of child pornography charges and related issues making the rounds on social media.
I asked to agendize establishment of a curriculum committee long before I knew about a fifth grade teacher giving gender ideology lessons to nine-year-olds. The curriculum agenda item is not related to “the book,” but a certain group does not want parents in the classroom or involved in curriculum, so they created a circus to distract you.
Please submit a comment for tomorrow night regarding your experience with the curriculum and pilot process, and your suggestions about how we can improve. The curriculum committee is Item J(4). You can make a comment here: www.pvpusd.net/feedback.
Please see my previous post discussing the various kinds of committees and the difference in levels of transparency and community input.
Also on the agenda are the volunteer policy (J(5)) and second interim budget report (J(2)).
The political rhetoric that will be on display tomorrow night is not helpful to our community. Let’s focus on the facts, and use our critical thinking skills to make the best decisions for our district and our children.
