Incredible Teachers Honored; Tomorrow Night’s Agenda

I hope you’re all thawing out after the cold wet weather. I want to give a shout out to our district employees, especially Brenna Terrones, for working around the clock to address storm-induced emergencies and getting our schools back up and running.

I had the pleasure of attending the Palos Verdes Peninsula Rotary Educator of the Year celebration on Thursday. The honorees are:

  • Adeline Allen, Peninsula Heritage School

  • Elizabeth McCurdy, Point Vicente Elementary School

  • Sheryl Rasmussen, Cornerstone Elementary School

  • Kindra Windish, Chadwick School

  • Stefanie Kagimoto, Silver Spur Elementary School

  • Cara Dunn, Rancho Vista Elementary School

  • Patti Petrucci, Ridgecrest Intermediate School

  • Karen Kostrencich, Palos Verdes High School

  • Ana Alejandre, Rolling Hills Prep, REACH and Renaissance Schools
